• 3rd Place Female and Male: $750

Local Runner Awards will not be presented at the awards ceremony after the races.  Local Runner Award winners will be verified after the race and awards will be mailed directly from Runners’ Retreat and Monoflo International.

Monoflo International is sponsoring a Beat the Course Record prize.

If the overall male or female winner beats the current course record, a $5,000 prize will be awarded by Monoflo International.

Prize & Payout Guidelines/Rules

• 1st place overall winners must fill out a W-9 after the race results have been verified, prize checks to be mailed by Frederick County and Monoflo International within 30 days.

• Overall 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, Masters, and Grand Masters will receive prize in form of a Truist gift card at event. Remaining prize money will be mailed directly by Monoflo International within 30 days.

• 2nd place ($600 via Truist gift card); $400 mailed from Monoflo International

• 3rd place ($500 via Truist gift card); $250 mailed by Monoflo International

• 4th place ($400 via Truist gift card); $100 mailed by Monoflo International

• 5th place ($300 via Truist gift card); $0 mailed by Monoflo International

• Masters ($200 via Truist gift card); $300 mailed by Monoflo International

• Grandmasters ($200 via Truist gift card); $300 mailed by Monoflo International

 

Payout Rules:

• Beat The Course Record payout is in addition to the Overall Payout (eg, if the overall winner also beats the record, their payout is $6,500 (Beat the Course Record: $5,000 and Overall: $1,500).

• Beat the Course Record winner will communicate directly with representatives from Monoflo International to arrange payout of prize.

• Only 1 Beat the Course Record will be recognized (eg, if more than one runner beats the record, only the fastest of all will be awarded the Beat the Course Record payout).

• Overall & Local Payouts cannot be combined (eg, If a local wins the overall race, they are not eligible for the Local payout as well. Same applies to Masters and Grand Masters payouts).

• “Local” is defined as a resident of the following: Winchester City (VA), Frederick County (VA), Clarke County (VA), Warren County (VA), and Berkeley County (WV)

• Payouts to “amateur level” runners who are not eligible to receive direct payouts, will be made directly towards their college or university upon receipt of valid and official school tuition invoice.
